Resources Part 2

by Dennis Perry on September 28, 2011

In yesterday’s post, I reviewed 8 websites/blogs that I feel provide great value and benefit for their readers and customers.  Today, I want to introduce you to more sites that I feel can provide value to living a rich, successful, world-class life.

If you are interested in learning about life in Australia, I recommend John Moulder’s site  He has interesting articles and blog posts about various aspects of Australia.  Recent posts have dealt with Trams, driving regulations, and celebrating various holidays “down under”.

Jennifer Battaglino is certified hypnotist and a certified tinnitus specialist.  Her website is  Her areas of specialty interest include Tinnitus treatment, anxiety, fears, and phobias.  Her site has many useful articles on her many areas of interest.  She recently ran a series of articles that introduced me to the problem our returning soldiers are facing with Tinnitus.  The tagline for her site is Personalized Empowerment and this is a very fitting and appropriate title.  Definitely check her site out.

Another key resource for me is  Dr. Kevin Hogan is an expert in persuasion, body language, influence, and Tinnitus.  He regularly writes very helpful and informative articles on these and other topics.  He is a published best-selling author, great writer, and a speaker.  His site is worthy of spending a great deal of time reading and learning from the great content published there.

Another of my favorite sites is  Michael Walker’s site is full of great articles on mindset. Our ability to create and live a truly rich, successful life depends in large part on our minds.  Our paradigms will either empower us to charge forward and succeed or, conversely, to fail.

Michael writes regular articles discussing mindset.  Like me, he is a fan of quotes; some famous and some not so famous.  His articles often include useful, empowering quotes to help move us forward.  Like the other sites I have profiled, this one is well worth your time to go to it and read and absorb the content presented there.

Now, one of my not-so-strong suits is organizational skills.  In fact, you could very accurately state that I am organizationally deprived.  If you don’t believe, just ask my poor wife!  The next site has been a very beneficial one for me because it addresses organization: how and why to do it.  The site is owned by Michael Paulse.  If you want to learn more about how to get organized, this is the site to visit.  I have learned quite a bit about the mechanics of organization and, even more importantly, where my lack of these skills likely stems from.  If one can get at the root of an undesirable habit, correcting it becomes much easier.

If you have an interest in matters involving your heating and air conditioning systems, the best source I know of is  Run by Kevin and Naomi Bettencourt, the site contains very helpful articles and descriptions of various heating and air conditioning systems.  They also recently did a great series on solar panels.

Their business is based in the Las Vegas area so if you live in that area you definitely want to use their services.  Even if, like me, you don’t live there I believe you will still find value in the articles on the site.  I know I have.

Even though I am a healthcare professional by profession, I really do not know very much about supplements and probiotics.  Not sure about medical/dental education today but in my educational days, nutrition and especially supplements might have been given a full 30 to 60 minutes in my 4 years of study and 5 years of residency.

As I have gotten older, I have come to believe that we do need supplementation because it is so difficult to get all of the nutritional value we need from our current food supplies.  Neil Dhawan has a great website at  His site is titled Cycles of Life with the subtitle of The Foundation of Inner Health.

His website contains useful information on Probiotics and useful articles regarding the FDA and other issues affecting the Supplement Industry.  Very interesting reading and a must for anyone taking or considering taking supplements.

Rob Malone has a very interesting site called  He writes a lot about setting goals, performing your gap analysis or analyzing the gap or distance between where you are right now and where you want to go.  I use a similar analysis in my coaching program.  It is very powerful and extremely helpful in goal setting.  Seeing the gap between your present and your intended future is motivational and helps provide the fuel to move you forward.  Like the others in this post, it is a great use of your time to read and study the articles there.

The last (and certainly not the least) resource I want to share with you is, the website of Scott Sylvan Bell.  Learning how to control your own body language and learning how to read the body language of others is a critical skill in today’s world.  Scott has engineered a great site with many articles and videos teaching you the basics (and quite a few advanced topics) of body language.

The videos are both entertaining and educational at the same time.

All of these sites mentioned today and in yesterday’s post are bringing great value to the world.  I encourage you to look them over and get engaged in the conversations.  It will help you and it will help them.

Make this a great day and live your life to the fullest!
